The U. S. billionaire, Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft says he is giving away $20 billion of his wealth back to society.
This, he says will go to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation hoping that giving out a part of his personal wealth will eventually get him out of the world’s wealthiest people list.
“I hope by giving more, we can mitigate some of the suffering people are facing right now and help fulfill the foundation’s vision to give every person the chance to live a healthy and productive life.” Said Gates
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a charity organization he founded with his Ex-wife, Melinda French Gates.
Billionaire thanks, another Billionaire, Warren Buffett whom he described as a true friend and the largest donor and supporter of the foundation.
“Despite huge global setbacks in the past few years, I see incredible heroism and sacrifice all over the world and I believe progress is possible,” he said.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation founded in 2000, is said to have been virtually unmatched in the scale of its donations and impact over the years, especially in the fields of medicine and preventable diseases.
