Feeling loss and frustrated credit: Pexel

Are you working hard, but stuck, with no meaningful progress in your life? Does a lack of progress make you agitated or frustrated?

If that is you, chances are, you are entertaining one or two stagnating habits in your life.

And if these habits go unchecked their consequences end in depression and possible life-threatening ailments. Because wanting to grow or take steps in life is part and parcel of human development.

Oftentimes, life’s odds can be unforgiving, especially when these odds keep you stuck on the runway of life.

Here are the 5 stagnating habits sabotaging your progress

Procrastination – At one point in time you and I were victims of this very habit, especially the perpetual procrastination. It’s the worst form of self-stagnating behavior in life.

Procrastination is a destiny killer. if you keep postponing things, activities or projects, you’re suffering from procrastinating behavior. It’s a self-sabotaging habit and a destiny killer. Get rid of it by taking charge of your schedules. Set life goals for yourself. Always act, never postpose tasks for tomorrow because tomorrow comes with its own challenges.

Self-doubting – this habit has harassed me for so long. It has been my main problem in life.  For years, I have suffered from self-doubt behavior.

To this day, I’m still fighting it off me. Doubting oneself is the worst form of self-sabotage.  Self-doubt put you in constant self-insufficiencies. You’re always inadequate or insufficient. Like you are not good enough as a result you remain stuck in the maze of overthinking. And the little voice in your head takes over your life. I’ve discovered self-doubt is a delusion it does not exist.

Lack of life’s objectives – a well-lived life is a life well programmed and directed either by goals o objectives. Living life without objectives is living aimlessly, with no guiding compass or direction. You’re always on autopilot mode. Setting small and achievable objectives is the best way to overcome the lack of objectives.

Fear – Fear is bad; it’s the worst form of self-sabotaging habit. Fear has ended many people’s destinies. It has kept so many in their comfort zone. It has made so many few not drive their own lives. The major reason why so many people are living a photocopy life is because of fear of the unknown.  You’re stagnating because you’re afraid of making a mistake. The best way to overcome fear is by facing it head-on.  Fear doesn’t exist it is a mental creation, not a reality. It doesn’t exist.

Passiveness/Indecisiveness – being passive/indecisive is bad because indecisiveness forces one to sit on the fence.  So, if you are stuck and not moving forward as a result of the action, chances are you indecisive or passive. Get rid of it. It doesn’t help. The solution is simple to make the decision.

The good news is it is not late you can still correct it and place your life on the right path to life and success. You can still unstick your life from the yoke of procrastination, self-doubt, lack of objectives, fear, and passiveness. You can still unleash your brilliance, talents, and become unstoppable in life and be the captain of your own life and live life on your own terms.
